Round one started out incredibly! The temp was a perfect 75 to 80.The excitement was so thick you could see it in the crowd. Bubba, Ricky, and Reed were looking fast and healthy! Team Zoo riders, Jesse Casillas, Scott Cram, and Kyle Mace, and all the Zoo leaders got together with Mark Kvamme to start the evening off in an awesome prayer to further God’s kingdom in Supercross.

Jesse was first to ride in the pre-qual, finishing with a strong sixth place. In heat two he finished with an impressive eighth place, making the main. In the main event, Jesse was smoking fast, just missing a top ten spot at the finish- taking the thirteenth place spot hot on the wheels of Nathan Ramsey.

Scott Cram, coming off a two bout with the flu, trained so hard and accomplished so much in the past month, that he was actually over-trained and too fatigued to race. There were also some issues that needed to be addressed with his bike set up, so he decided to DNF, setting his sights on Round 2 in Phoenix.

Kyle Mace came out strong, setting the fastest time in his practice group, a 107.495. In the pre-qual, he did well with a third place finish. Heat number one in the night event, Kyle looked smooth and fast, but his class was stacked by Stewart, Reed, Vuillemin, Larocco, and Lewis to name a few. Kyle ended up finishing the heat an impressive tenth.

In the LCQ, Kyle raced another good race, finishing eighth on the wheels of Tyler Evans. He will be racing the Phoenix race with a vengeance.

Team MDK Nick Wey finished 3rd in his heat and an impressive 7th over all in the main.

Team MDK Eric McCrummen looked fast only to be taken out by the ridiculous lamb whoops where Eric fractured his pelvic. Please keep him in prayer.

Team Zoo Dylan Lord broke his back in Europe the break was clean so he will be ok. Please pray that his insurance pay’s the bills, also that he keeps in good spirits and can fly home soon.
