Zoo Rider Chris Ridener will be putting on a flatland demonstration at Vincennes University during their founders weekend April 18-20, 2008. Chris is dedicating his performance to raise money for the March of Dimes. Below is a letter Chris sent out to fratenity members and alumni. We are posting it so you can read more what Chris is doing.

Dear Maam or Sir:
Pi Lambda Phi Fraternity is excited to be involved in numerous community projects in 2008. The weekend of April 18-20 is our founder's weekend at Vincennes University. One of our founders and alumni Chris Ridener who is a member of the military also operates an outreach organization that performs bicycle stunt performances while sending a positive message to the community. Chris has been featured in Ride Bmx Online, Bmx Plus, and CNN Headline News (Nancy Grace). Chris is also the member of the Airspeed Shoes official Bmx Team. Chris will be attending founders this year and has agreed to perform a Bmx Flatland demonstration on campus and at the YMCA in Washington, IN. The March of Dimes will be hosting a walk in Vincennes on the same weekend. Chris is dedicating his performance to raise money for the March of Dimes. In order to make this event successful we are seeking sponsorships and all funds will be donated to the March of Dimes (Evansville, IN Chapter). These donations will be on behalf of your business and Pi Lambda Phi Fraternity. Because Pi Lambda Phi and the March of Dimes are both non-for-profit organizations your donation will be tax deductible. Our goal is to raise $1,200 for this event. In an effort to help convince you on how important your sponsorship means to us we will also announce you at the event and Chris has agreed to create a new page on his website and ad you for one month as a way to help promote your business. We are hoping to get a financial donation to give to the March of Dimes in your name and on behalf of Pi Lambda Phi. We are looking for a $10, $20, $25, $50, or $100 donation. If you have coupons or other items we will also hand these out during the events. This event is also being advertised in local and national media thanks to Chris Ridener. We hope you take the time to join us in this great opportunity to reach out to many communities and help support the efforts of the March of Dimes. We will also supply a flyer to you before the event. Donations can be made through Pay Pal, Check or Money order.
